How do I stop my bigger male cat from dominating the smaller male cat?
Ok here is the problem i have a Male Bengal Cat who is about 28lbs and a regular domestic Male cat about 13lbs. The big one keeps trying to pick up the little by the back of the kneck and carry him around like a kitten. What do i do to stop this any suggestions.
This is perfectly natural behavior for two cats of either gender. They have to be allowed to establish some level of dominance on their own. As long as neither of them are getting hurt, they and you will be better off in the long run if you just let it happen. It sounds to me as if it is more of a motherly/caretaking display than anything. It is actually comforting for a small kitten to be carried that was as his mother would. You have nothing to worry about.
